This is our bank building downtown. The building does come to a very sharp point, but the roof is flat. By using a 20mm f/2.8 AIS Nikkor and pointing the camera upwards from a low to high angle, I was able to grossly exaggerate the perspective. The back part of the building now becomes very angular as well, complimenting the angles of the front part of the building.

A couple of shots of the Mobile (AL) Convention Center as seen through the 16mm f/2.8 AIS Fisheye Nikkor. The first is a walkway leading to the main building

The second is the center of the main building, also through the fisheye. If you stood in the center of the design on the carpet and looked straight up, the octangonal window would be directly above you and the wooden areas would appear to be a perfect square. The fisheye significantly distorts the perspective and makes for a very different perspective of the interior of the building.

Here is another wide angle shot from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is the Burj Khalifa, world's tallest building, taken from atop the Shangri La hotel.
