I liked the somber tones but it is difficult to get tree photos sometimes in an urban environment. If you look closely you will see the electric wires.

Another x tree. We sure need the rain, but the old ornamental pear couldn't take it. It had fire blight (as they all do) and I have been trying to keep it going. I took off nearly 10 feet of its height last year, which was a good thing as the window about 6 feet further on is where I am sitting typing this.
