Red sky at night, sailors' delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning; The rhyme is a rule of thumb used for weather forecasting during the past two millennia. It is based on the reddish glow of the morning or evening sky, caused by haze or clouds related to storms in the region.
Here are two from the other evening. The first one I did not use the perspective control to straighten and the other I did but mad the tower squatty. I also cooled the white balance by using the fluorescent white balance to get more blue. So which one? This is at the foot of State Street Erie PA at the dock renamed "Dobbins Landing".
