Post your Squirrel pictures

Do you have any idea what type of squirrel this is? I looked online but don't see that particular one listed. We have the Eastern Gray Squirrel here as well as some black squirrels. The other day I thought I saw some that looked more beige than gray so will look for them again - those might be the American Red Squirrel. If so, I don't recall them being in this area previously.

Fox squirrel ,which are an introduced species in SoCal. Have half a dozen at the house that squabble over nuts every morning. They are the predominant species at the local parks now, but there's a good population of grays, too -- they just don't like posing.

Thanks, wev. I looked at the map in my link and saw they aren't listed anywhere close to the western part of the country. Their colors are definitely striking. :)

far off, but finally got a ground squirrel to pause long enough in the open
