This is not a selfie as I didn't take it. But it is my favorite picture of me with my son.

I haven't been around for a long time as I concentrate on improving my portrait shots.
They're boring and flat and my intention is to make them pop.
I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and tried a few things on this selfie.
Compared to the SOOC this looks almost 3 dimensional to me so I think I am on the right track.

What's annoying is that I can get photos to look terrific on my monitor (using web-standard sRGB), but when I upload them to various sites (Flickr, Nikonites, Facebook) they look completely different. They not only look different on the sites, but they can look dramatically different even depending on which device I use to browse the site. The pics from the above session turn out very orange on my Samsung tablet and they look unsaturated on an iPad. (I know the difference between when the Night mode/blue light filters are on...)
