The photographers’ food chain in Venice

At the Venice Carnival a few years ago, this young female photographer was shooting a costumed person. Another female, interested, happened by and shot her shooting him. I, seeing all of this, took a snap of them all.

I wonder if I should have turned around to make sure no one was behind me...

At the risk of embarrassing myself the model doesn't look quite lifelike. Which would explain the camera and 1/2 eyebrow.

Is this in a wax museum? I had to look pretty close at it, but he has no pores, fingernails are yellow and his finger isn't on the shutter button, and the camera is so very trashed. I am amazed at how real these sculptures can look.

Yes it is a wax museum. We were considering going but when we in this area the weather was too nice to be inside.

The Bobcat kittens have been seen every morning at Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge for about a month now. Naturally, they didn't show up while I was there. These folks were waiting from 7am. At one point there were 12 photographers (including me). We got there at 8am and gave up after an hour and went to the boardwalk. After the boardwalk, we went looking for the hummingbirds. Didn't get any shots. We headed back to the parking lot and there were about 5 people still waiting for the bobcats. Some were new and some were the originals. We left at 10:30am.

It looks like many old fellows were keeping adding to the photography hobbyist pool. (sure, many of them could already become photo hobbyists at a younger age, not like myself)

Our local nature photo club is a sea of gray hair.

Taking photos on the beach seems to be popular. These two pictures are from Thailand, taken 15 min apart. It's the same family, gearing up from one camera stand to two and a chair for the director (?) while his assistent is managing the iPhone.
