Hi jsee I like the first better it's a little lighter but I think ur pushing the sharpening a little too much.it tends to make it speckled (unsure if that's best descript)but looks like good lean shot

I think maybe there is too much sharpening maybe more concentrated sharpening in areas that need it and not the whole moon.

Yeah some areas are sharpened too much but it's trial and error at the moment since I don't fully control the deconvolution process. I'm at the max the lens and cam can deliver and have to pull all other detail in post which is harder than I expected.

Once I get it right, I will start blending.

We didn't get but a tease of the eclipse this morning, but we do have clear sky now. What colors do you see? The pp was done in LR5, auto wb and auto tone only.
