I've never done that before myself , but I like a few of the pix I got and it made for a relatively comfortable trip ( gets hot round these parts these days ), Ill tell you though the f 5.6 150-600 lens was really a bit too long of a lens for this zoo , a shorter fast lens would've been a better choice IMO. For instance the Tamarins were only 20 feet or so , but really very shaded. ( and then there are bars etc to deal with.)I've only seen them in captivity, would love to see them in the wild! I haven't taken a trip to the zoo since I started photography, hopefully I'll get a chance to go soon.
