This girl just stopped by our back yard for a snack! I tried a few pix from inside the house but the window made them look to cruddy, so I went to the corner of the house and was able to get a shot before she ran off. Glad I did!

Correct! at the brevard zoo, ..(if I had gotten this shot in the wild I would be a very happy camper,, but as it is , zoo shots appear to have challenges of their own.)

I've only seen them in captivity, would love to see them in the wild! I haven't taken a trip to the zoo since I started photography, hopefully I'll get a chance to go soon.

I've never done that before myself , but I like a few of the pix I got and it made for a relatively comfortable trip ( gets hot round these parts these days ), Ill tell you though the f 5.6 150-600 lens was really a bit too long of a lens for this zoo , a shorter fast lens would've been a better choice IMO. For instance the Tamarins were only 20 feet or so , but really very shaded. ( and then there are bars etc to deal with.)

That suits me, it'll be the one occasion when I'm glad I can't afford the 150-600mm just yet and haveto use my 70-300mm.
