Playing around with my D3200

A couple of bees in my backyard this afternoon...

I'm reprocessing some older macro shots to work out how to do them. Not the best shots but there's little else I got that's this colorful and it'll take another month or two before I can shoot something.

3 months more practice makes a difference too.

Thanks Wev - not a great range of "woldlife" in my backyard so I make do with what flys by...

That should have read "wildlife" not "wOLDlife" ... but if any of my neighbours looked over the fence and saw me crawling around on the ground trying to photograph bees and butterflys (and complaining about my knees) they may well think "wOLDlife" pretty well sums it up...

Experimenting with greater than 1:1 macro handheld. Here is the back of a small cane toad.

Still practicing. One of my very early shots, even before I had a macro lens.



And another. I actually laughed when I noticed the settings used. I kinda pushed the D3300 to the max during those days.

Went to my local home and garden center to get some plumbing items. Came away with these as well.






Succulents are quickly becoming my favorite plants.

It is some kind of wasp, not sure which one though. Looks to be from the ichneumon family.
