Mine's gonna be a Nikon. I ordered it already some days ago. I improvised a while to see if the small interested me enough to invest in a dedicated lens and it sure looks like I'm above all gonna be a Micronaut.

No matter -- as an old friend told me, it ain't the glass, it's the joy (and with about 100k of cameras and lens on his shelf, he should know).

Being single does have advantages when you got a costly hobby. ;)

After the winter I'm gonna upgrade the cam too. The D3300 is a wonderful thing but it got too many buttons I don't need and lacks some options I'd rather have.

The D3300 has the least number of buttons in Nikon DSLR range, only P&S or Cell Phone have less.

True but not all have loads of buttons that are purely consumer oriented. I bought it to see if digital photography interested me enough since it was many many moons ago I last used a cam. Those days the d was not yet attached to the slr. It worked and I'm hooked again but also slowly desiring more than an entry model can deliver. The problem is not the D3300, the problem is me.

It's a very great dslr for its price but can't keep up with my increasing demands.

Simple dust on the outside of a lens. But after I wiped all visible dust off with a paper towel. Yes I knew that wouldn't remove all the dust. Lol I'm just having fun with my D300 and Nikkor AF 105mm micro d lens. :)
