Just glad my 2 front teeth did not cost that, mine was £400 for 2 new crowns.

If it helps at all, those two teeth are still cheaper than my 1 front tooth a couple days ago. Stupid burrito snapped my tooth in half ... how does THAT happen?!?!

I'm very happy with my D5100 and while I keep looking for a deal on a D7100 I cannot pass up there is nothing wrong with the D5100 and as long as it keeps working I'll keep using it. I adore the articulated screen. It has become my wife's camera and she likes it's size and weight.
Recently picked up a D90 as part of a package deal. Having taken it out for a couple of trial runs I'd rate the D5100 as better. The D90 has the top side display which is nice. But it will become our back up and rough use camera.
Enjoy that D5100.

As long as the coating doesn't peel off of the glass, I wouldn't fret. In fact, I sometimes wish a couple of mine didn't have the gold bands. Maybe I could/should take a black Sharpie to them!

Ten days, Kevin? Wow, I didn't get nearly that much time off... It may not be Christmas, but make sure you keep the new ones around for a lot of Christmases!!! I hope you're doing a lot better by now.

Here we go again..... another NON Photographic Purchase.....
Ups dropped off a large box yesterday..... Feels like Xmas in May!
Upon opening, I found my new Ham radio, an auto antenna tuner and interface cable!!
The radio is a new Yaesu FT-991, I call it a "Shack in a box" in that it calls ALL legal ham bands...
My Dual Band (VHF/UHF) is in for repair and I was actually looking for a backup. I tend to like redundancy (2 camera bodies, 2 motorcycles etc)
I could not find the one I wanted (discontinued) and was not that impressed with the other available dual bands. It got me thinking, what if my HF rig died??? So, after a lot of research decided on this setup as it covers all bands and all modes. I needed a tuner for the other HF anyway so bought that at the same time.
And.... here it is operating last night, and I really like it!

My purchase has arrived! I had a bit of a scare though, half way through the day I got an email saying they attempted delivery but failed as no one was in, I found this strange cause every other Amazon delivery driver has left everything at my house, from a PS4 to Batteries and a charger to a lens with no problem.
So I quickly got onto the Amazon app and changed the settings to say I dont mind it being left in a safe place, half an hour later I got an email saying that the package had been left. Got home and there it was.
Happy Daz!! Cant wait to get out tomorrow night to do some HSS Shooting!!
