My used Nikon 1 J5 came in DOA. Got reimbursed and ordered a brand new one. It was only about 70.00 difference anyway.

She is a beauty to be sure, here with my 50mm f/1.8 AIS Nikkor. The F2, in all of its variations, was the ultimate in all-mechanical 35mm cameras, bar none. This one is going to get a lot of use in the near future!

Going by the serno, this one was made in 1974. The first two numbers of the serno on F2's were the year it was made. This one is 7403119. These are from an era where no effort was spared to make the best camera in the world at that time. And the fact that 40 years on it still works is a testament to that. Yes, it is somewhat noisy with the motor, but that is not an issue for me.

It's actually camera related. I need it to take the backroads off the mountains where the critters are. My Dakota was getting a little long in the tooth. every month it needed repairs , and now I was looking at suspension problems es well.

Max loves the roomy interior and there is lots more room for Dolly as well. Don't ask me where Mrs Blacktop is going to sit.:indecisiveness:

Picked up a new bag to keep my P7100 in, took one of the dividers out so the camera fits sitting on it's base and the charger goes in the next compartment, I may have to change the dividers if and when I get the extra wide angle lens for it

weebee, I do not mean to be inquisitive but why so many camera's? is there a duty for each one, my D3200 is my all in one shooter:)

It's a disease some of us have. Pray to god it doesn't happen to you! ;) I like to carry two DSLRs when I'm out in the field. One with a long lenses. the other with usually a prime on it. The P600 has a 60X zoom. Good for reaching way out there. I keep a P&S in each car just for case. The J5 I just ordered is because I like the S1, but I wanted more features.

yeah, I bought a Rolex just to have one because they are beautiful, I can imagine your collection just because I see your camera collections list and for every camera you must have accessories as well:)
