A Cameron T100BH. $70 from Henry's. It has an Arca plate, so it is compatible with a Peak Capture Pro. I'm happy about that.

It was sooo hard to walk out of that store this morning! I headed for the door, and did a U-turn... right back to the Nikon DSLRs, and bought a Lens Pen. The other one I have is somewhere in the house. I'll come across it someday - while looking for something else.

When I got my first D600 way back when, it came with the kit 24-85. That was much too limiting for me, so I upped to the 24-120 not long after. I love it, but still 120 was too short for a lot of my shooting.

So today, I picked up a spiffy new 28-300.

Lens, box, papers, (US) warranty and hood. And I'm sure you'll cry when I tell you the check was written out for $845.

Good choice,if it lives up to your needs could the D810 turn into lenses for it,been looking at the Canon ::what:: G3 X but will give Nikon a bit longer to catch up.

The D810 and lenses will stay for now as I just love the IQ. But its the weight of the Nikon stuff that is starting to get me down.

Having seen Nick M shots and lots of others I am taking a step into the micro 4/3 world to see how it goes. If its OK then yes I will seriously think about selling off my FX gear. I have also bought this from the grey market so hope it works out.

Well as I promised myself I'm replacing the cheap brand L bracket on my D800E with a Kirk brand L bracket! The one I have isn't ridged enough to really do a good job on portraits! But though expensive this Kirk one aught to work very well, according to feedback and what I hear from friends that have one! :D

So I bought myself a Kirk L bracket to install on my D800E's battery grip, and I can hardly wait till it gets here! Lol :D
