I've got a used D7100 on the way here from Adorama, a bit of a step up from my D3300, can't wait for it to arrive
Good call! I went from a D40 to the D7100
The new-to-me FE2 showed up today, great little camera. Excellent condition. Seems to have a ding and slightly cockeyed hotshoe on the prism. Camera looks great and performs excellent (so far). Have a roll of Fuji 400 ready to go in tonight (found out my local CVS store sells Fuji, Kodak & CVS brand 400 35mm film today!)
Came with a Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens as well. The Patina/Brassing on this body looks great

@Retro posted a link earlier, decided I need to try some of that!
Should make those long editing sessions easier? If not, at least the mug is cool, especially when used to one's advantage during another large group meeting at work.

I've always wanted a mug from them. That one looks nice too. Unfortunately, it looks like it's made for one finger. I wouldn't even use it if it's uncomfortable. It would sit in the cupboard and end up in a yard sale. That reminds me; I have a large Tim Horton's in the fridge. Time for coffee.

A great choice though - you will enjoy it.
My wife bought me one of these a few months ago - I adore this lens - it lives on my D610. Great walk about, between it and the Tamron 70-300 few other lenses get much use - well unless I'm shooting bugs with my macro's.

I haven't read his book on the D3200, but the other three books of his have been great!

That's good to hear RC. From what little I've had the chance to look over so I can see this book is really going to help me. I only want to take snapshots but I want to take nice snapshots. This seems like the kind of book that will give me a good, solid foundation to work with.

Don't forget to get your lens profile to fix the distortion. It isn't in the LR list (at least not in the past).
New strap arrived yesterday. I like it. I just wish it had more tripod functionality.
I wrote to BR and told them I would like a fastener with a tripod receiver hole in the bottom, so I could remove my camera and put it on ANY tripod, or else have a Peak Design style plate with a carabiner hole and matching piece that could fit on to ANY tripod. BR said:
"...We are currently working on our own quick release plate solution that would work with our FRT1 and is Arca Swiss compatible. It does not have a release date yet but should be within six months.
If you are using a tripod that isn’t compatible with the Arca Swiss system the only solution would be a third party plate called the M Plate Pro. It has a separate place for our FastenR to connect. You would need to attach the M Plate to your camera and your unique quick release plate directly to the M Plate. This would be two plates on your camera..."
