MY tamron 150-600 lens shipped this week, it's a super fun lens but definitely requires some skill to handhold and get sharp images.

Received my 1 Nikkor 70-300 to complete my Nikon 1 system. Looks good in my Think Tank Urban Approach 15 Backpack.

Contents: Nikon 1 V2 with 10-100mm non-PD, Nikon 1 V2 with 6.7-13mm, 10mm, 18.5mm, 32mm and 70-300mm.

The RoadTrip I've used with the D7100 and D610, with both the 24-120mm/f4 or 16-35mm/f4 lenses. I was happy with the results from both. I have not tried to use the Tamron 150-600mm on the RoadTrip, but have used that same lens on the GlobeTrotter with the D7100 and it also did fine.

I usually hang my camera bag (whichever one I'm traveling with) from the tripod to give it some extra stability, but it's been good outdoors and with some light to moderate wind. Have tried shooting in any strong winds with long exposures.
