Well thanks to @Don Kuykendall I have just purchased a DJI Phantom 2 Vision + which includes a spare battery and configuration set up

I think the only difference in yours and mine is the camera and gimbal. I think the drone is the same. Don't forget to update the firmware first. took me a while to figure that one out. Hit me up on Facebook and I can help you along on that.

they are a lot of fun to fly and very easy also. The quality of the camera was better than I expected it to be once I started shooting it in RAW mode.

Just had to change my order as I never ordered the V3 just the Phantom 2+. The V3 is apparently more powerful and has a few extras that make it smoother.

There is no segregation of the two versions for some reason but when buying new get the V3 as it has some finer things.

Warning, Warning, not photography related. Just picked up a Bridgeport Milling machine. Heading up to Albany tomorrow to pick it up. So syked. Now I have to find something to mill. I know, maybe a softbox adapter ring. Those Profoto rings are ridiculously expensive.

spent very little and got a bundle....finally sprang for the Creative Cloud after hearing that Lightroom might be upgraded in the near future!

I bought this the other day as had all these HDD's lying around, and I was amazed that all but one HDD fit in the pockets. (Need to work that one out). But it read the disks fine and I got some old photos back.

I just signed up for Lynda.com, which is free until 2-2-15. I figure I'll keep it longer since there is so much to learn about Lightroom and Photoshop. Here
