Did you know we have a Post processing forum now?:)

Since AA has left me stranded in Lafayette LA for at least 3 hours so far tonight, right now I need time behind the camera so that I can even HAVE something to post process. :( This work thing ... pays for some nice gear, but really is getting in the way of actually using it! :)

_DSC4598 almost fits.jpg

Bought a bag of bags from the orient.

When I measured my new-to-me vintage Tamron 200-400 for it's bag I forgot to factor in the tripod collar. Yes I can un-mount it but that would be a pain. So it "almost" fits.

Picked up some more of these Neoprene lens bags by Martin. Provides nice bit of cushion and seem very durable. And not so costly. (Set of four is like $11 - free shipping).

Also bought a couple of different shade hoods for this lens and a white balance cap for it. (Love those white balance caps) and some step up rings cause you never know when you gotta step up eh?

Have to shoot some events this year that require concurrent use of 24-70 and 70-200. So I bought the Yeti. Less geeky looking than their Double harness. Feels much better than my two Tamrac straps.

Just because you dont have something is no reason to buy it :D or maybe it is

Well, I do have one. But it is a piece of junk that came with my photo box set up. And I wouldn't trust it with my D7100 with the Sigma 300mm macro. And, truth be told. I was in the mood that I needed to scratch that NAS itch!!!!

I bought this the other day as had all these HDD's lying around, and I was amazed that all but one HDD fit in the pockets. (Need to work that one out). But it read the disks fine and I got some old photos back.
