Bad enough seeing all the camera gear in this thread. Now I wanna go to the sporting goods store.
And you did remind me of this other purchase :)

Good looking lure. We use similar ones for walleye fishing. Especially like the Berkley flickr shad models.

I just ordered my very first dslr yesterday. Woohoo! D7000 on it's way.
Very nice, I drive past this guys factory everytime I go to Darwin. He is the only local lure maker here :)

I'm kind of feeling left out. I bought 4 cups of coffee, a donut, 2 cherry covered chocolates and an eggroll today.
Also paid a dollar for air, to put in my drivers side front tire.:indecisiveness:

This post was edited twice. Once to add a smiley, and once to remove a comma in front of the word "and".

I just purchased B&H's Deal of the Day which is a Hoya 82mm Thin Circular Polarizer. I have a Sigma thin 82mm CP. but the coating is starting to flake (and this is my second copy of this Sigma CP filter). This Hoya CP filter will fit my Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. I believe it will also fit the new Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 for those who own that lens. These thin profile filters tend to be more difficult to find for a decent price--they work well for wide angle lenses and don't cause as much, if any, vignetting as thicker filters (of course, that will vary from lens to lens). This one is $59.95 and has a 7-layer HMC coating.

It's a Deal of the Day so the price is temporary.

I just purchased some swimming shorts, because I realised that sometime recently, I got fat! (Although my employer pays the £500 annual gym membership, and I go in their time, not mine!)

I acted on an impulse last night and spent 20 bucks on a couple of wooden artist's dummies, a 12" and a 5". (Well, ok, I threw in a chai latte too)

I'm not an artist, in the sketching sense (sketch-y maybe), but have always been fascinated with the models, and I've got a couple of ideas re: photos with 'em, so figured, "Why the heck not?" Maybe next I'll buy one of the more detailed hand models... LOL
