Well I picked up another Nikon 1 V1 camera so now my beloved wife and I both have one! Later I think I might upgrade to either a Nikon 1 V2 or a V3, depending on the costs when I have some money available after I get some lenses paid off! :)

Anyway I got lucky and got it pretty cheap at $180.00 plus shipping and it came with a pro-grip! My beloved an I will share the lenses we already have for first V1! :)

I think this Christmas is turning out to be an awesome one! :)

You can guess my first thought when i saw your name as a new post on here OH NO WHAT NOW http://

A pleasant surprise is the Samyang being able to communicate with the Nikon. It's only manual focus but the indicators on the Nikon can still show if we focus short or far. Aperture also seems to work for us.
Yeah its the same as my Rokinon but different name :) make sure you line up infinity at the L the short line should be spot on :)

I've been having a problem with my sd memory card for a few weeks now, I can not delete pictures off it, or even format it, keeps saying its write protected(doubled checked and its not)

So I was in my local superstore today and spotted a 16GB sd card on sale at £10, a sandisk Extreme 16GB 60mb/s, so I got it.

Christmas present from SWMBO sorted. Just ordered the Lee filter foundation kit, 77mm adapter and a Big Stopper filter. Bring on some long exposures (and spending a lot more myself on a grad and circular polarising filter) :D

I figured out how to upload pics. If it goes gray on you, go up top and hit your page refresh. Then go back and hit the Insert Image icon again, and presto! It works! :)

Sigma AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DL. Bought this for the 300mm macro feature. Decent reviews. Hopefully it'll hold me over until I can get the Nikon 105 micro.
