At the beginning of the year, I bought an 82mm 6-stop ND filter for my Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens and needed a step up ring to fit it on the filter size of 77mm. Normally I order Adorama's step up rings, but their 77mm-82mm size has been on back order for months. B&H had one made by Sensei in stock. Since I want to use the filter on my 18-35mm lens, I wanted a slim profile step up ring. This one is slim and received excellent ratings by other owners although I haven't yet had time to try it out (just arrived yesterday). Surprisingly there are a number of step up rings that appear to be quite tall which is something to notice especially if you will be using it on a wide angle lens (might cause a little vignetting if it is too tall).

"Bought" a 35mm 1.8. We use our Discover card for everything so we acquire a good amount of cash back bonus each month (and we pay off the card every month so it is free money). This is how I got the camera and all the lenses I have so far.

I'm willing to step up and save one of your lives, out goodness of my heart! I'll let one of you send me this dangerous lens, so it won't be around to upset the wife of the lucky one who I'll be helping! But that is just what a good friend should do, going out of his way to offer to help his buddies! Lol ;)

Ha, at least I won't be alone in the graveyard. Congrats

Darn that is the one thing I'm unable to manage! I'm sorry my friend, but I guess your stuck with your fate. But I'll remember you as a good friend that died, while striving to create even better photos! Lol ;)

I'll let you save my life, but you better act fast and send me the money for it, as that is why the damage gets inflicted on my dead carcass.

Picked up the Kindle version of "Mastering The Nikon D7100" by Darrell Young (thx BDH for the recommendation) and another 90 MB/s 32GB SD card from PNY while they're still on sale. Gotta have something to keep up with the beast! (The primal one)

Its a great book, I got the Kindle version too, so I can reference it on my phone & tablet.

Let us know how you go with the 90MB/sec cards, I have a 45 & 90 and I can't honestly tell any difference on continuous high.... Both are SanDisk Extremes...

Well my Tamrac expedition 8x arrived today, and man it seems very well made! It seems perfectly designed for my needs, and I started stuffing it almost before I got the plastic bag off of it! Lol :)
Wow what a difference it makes having a good pack, for my mounting pile of camera gear! Lol ;)
I'd highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a top notch pack to hold a lot of gear! :D
