Still a bit in sticker shock and testing auto focus, etc. Seems to be A-Okay and I feel a little jig coming on :)

After not using a standard zoom lens in a long time I have finally purchased a AF-s Nikkor 17-55/2.8G. It looks like I'm gonna love it! ;) And oh, I got it for a steal at e*bay. I was surprised I was the only one who bid on it.

just ordered a new vanguard monopod to go along with my vanguard tripod (matching set), just gotta wait until wednesday to test it out

its the AM263 it should meet my needs, had thought about buying one without the tilt head and adding the ballhead i have on my tripod, but i think this should do me.

As you know I've left Olympus and I'm rebuilding my kit with Nikon.

I found a great price on a used 70-200mm F4 and then I Really Hope I'm Done :)

I got back from my walk. I love the mono pod. Works great, plus it got double duty when I had to convince a dog to get away, dumb poodle looking thing. The ball head works well with the mono pod. It gives you more mobility on moving the camera around.

Just ordered a Yongnuo 565EX, 9"x8" soft box, white and silver/black umbrellas, 7' stand/holder, 15' TTL Sync Cord, and some eneloop batteries.

Can't wait to start playing with flash!
