Woohoo! My D90 just got here, and I'm loving it so far! I put my 70-300 AF lens on it and it works awesome! I wasn't able to get outside to get some shots with it today due to extreme pain, but I'm hoping that tomorrow will be better and I'll be able get outside to take some shots I can post! :D
For all of you who recommended the D90 to me, I want to say thank you! I have to say I already like this model better than my D3100! Lol :D

Yep it's me again!lol my new used D90 didn't come with a memory card, so temporarily I stole the card out of my D3100 so I can play with my D90. But today I bought 3 SanDisk 8GB Extreme Pro 8 GB SDHC UHS-I Cards, for the D90! :) Since the 8 gig card is what is recommended for the D90 and since the bigger cards are a lot more expensive anyway, I figured getting 3 of the 8 gig would work! Lol :D
I still need a bigger card for the d5100, but it will have to wait! Lol :D

Nothing photo related this time, but thought it was worth sharing...

I've owned one of the Real Deal Brazil "Pretty Ugly" hats for a while, and it's saved this bald head from many a burn during Scottish Games season by way of it's floppy but tough shade protection, and have been wanting to add the traditional hat to my collection for quite some time. Waited for one of my local shops to get it in stock for about 6 months (yes, I'll buy a camera online, but not a hat!), and all the while, was jealous of Scott Murray's avatar! LOL

NOW I've got it, and in just a short time, it's become indispensable. Durn plain ol' ugly GOODNESS. Period. Of course, I'm the "shooter", so there are no pics of me in the hat as of yet. Also, not sure how I missed missed it on their site, I recently found out that it's the same style of hat "Tallahassee" wore in the movie Zombieland, so as a bonus, I now feel prepared to face the oncoming Zombocalypse! The funny thing is, now everyone is saying "G'Day" to me as I walk around in my Brazilian tarp hat!

Ok, get back to bragging about your photography purchases, driving me further and further into NAS... and wish you had a hat as cool as mine.

Well my battery grip arrived, but the tray that holds the batteries only holds one d90 battery. It looks as if the grip should have had another tray that holds AAs, but there wasn't any other trays. I sent a message to the seller, mildly complaining about a missing battery tray. Since I only paid $30.00 plus shipping, I'm not too mad about it. But I think I'll likely buy the Nikon battery grip for my d90 when I can afford to spend the money. Oh well, so it goes sometimes! Lol :)

Got myself a Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 for my D3200 today. Also invested in some Lee filters and adapters. Got the Lee foundation kit, which holds the filters, a 77mm wide angle adaptor ring, a .6 ND hard graduated filter and the big stopper filter.
Live right on the coast and landscapes/seascapes is a big part of my photography. Up until now I've been using the kit lens with a B&W 10 stop ND filter so really looking forward to trying out the wider lens and especially those filters.

Check out this Tilley hat. It looks like an Outback hat. Expensive? Probably but I have two of them (olive and khaki with olive trim), and they are my favorite hats. They aren't completely waterproof, but they repel water in downpours. Quite often I get positive comments from strangers--mostly women because I am female--but once some guy walked out in front of me from a back room in the grocery store, and his knee-jerk reaction was Howdy Tex! Nice hat! (HEY, it's an Aussie hat!!!)

And to get the thread back on track, yesterday I received my D610 that I ordered via B&H. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I did charge the battery (will have to wait a couple of weeks for the refund check from Nikon but don't want to get off track again here). ;)

Well some of my new goodies arrived, the sandisk memory card reader works great with all cards including Compact Flash. My new SanDisk extreme pro Compact flash card works great with all my other cards. And my Nero lightning trigger got a little work out last night, didn't get any keepers as I totally mis-read the huge storm and ended up getting pummelled with rain before the lightning arrived. But on a side not the trigger worked flawlessly and was very easy to set up and adjust. There will be more storms and I am hoping that I read these better and get the results I am chasing.

Just arrived in the post here in work. Bought second hand off a guy the other side of the country.
Lee foundation kit, Lee 77mm wide angle holder and Lee .6 ND Hard Grad Filter.
Along with my purchase of the Sigma 10-20 and the Lee Big Stopper, I`m praying the weather holds up this weekend so I can get out with my new toys!

Well I squeeked out enough money to finish getting memory cards for my D5100, and broke down and bought a real manual for my D90! :)
I'm hoping the three 8 GB SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC memory card 95MB/s Class 10 UHS-I SDSDXPA-008G-A75 cards will work well for the D5100. :)
