Well friends, I just bought another Nikon! Yes I know I only have two hands and two eyes to use them with! Lol But I just couldn't resist getting a D90 for $325.00 ! :D
It has about 25k shutter count, but it seemed well worth the money after seeing what they tend to sell for! I figure to stick my Nikkor 70-300mm lens on it, so I can use the AF on that lens. :)
I totally blame my friends who talked up the D90, for my buying it! Lol :D

Sweet! I love mine and am not at all regretful I bought it. I paid about the same as you.

VERY NICE! I've considered one of these as well, as they're fairly easily found for that price and have the built in ability to use a wireless shutter release, etc. Darn budgets, though, and the need for a speedflash, and some studio lighting, and some add on software for LR5 (Like the NIK collection), etc...

I eventually want to step up to the D7100 (or even more hopeful, the D610), but in the short run, I've almost considered selling the D3100 and getting a D90 instead, but I know my D3100 inside out and backwards right now, so the D90 might be a nice addition some time next year... Nice to know I'd always have a main and back-up camera on hand until I can step up to one of the BIG boys! (Can we say NAS?)

BLAH BLAH BLAH, I know... in short. Nice grab, I'm jealous!

Lol I know what you mean. I likely should have bought a flash, but I just could resist getting the d90! Lol I will eventually get a D4 or whatever comes next, but that will likely be a long time from now. Especially if I keep buying other Nikon's whenever I get some money saved up! Lol ;)

Three weeks?!? Have you filed a complaint?

Not yet but I will soon. When I won the auction I thought this would happen because I got it for $700 and its only been used a couple days so probably worth a bit more. I think he just didn't want to sell it for that price so isn't sending it.

He shouldn't have listed it then. That can get him kicked off eBay.

I just bought a MEIKE LCD BATTERY GRIP FOR NIKON D80/ D90 new on eBay for $30.00 and I admit it was a gamble since I didn't Google it before buying it. But at that price I figured it was worth the risk! Lol :D

If I get a full refund I won't be too disappointed because i only bought the D7000 because it was a pretty good price but since I just got the D5100 I think I'll wait for awhile then upgrade to the D7100.
I got the chance to compare them today side by side in the store and the D7100 &D7000 have a more solid feel in the hand...

Works just fine, you can use it in full auto, or TTL, which you can turn the power of the tubes up or down, also has full manual mode as well, I was taking photo's of ornaments and some of my diecast models yesterday, didn't have one bad exposure, sadly I deleated them off the card, hopefully I'm off next week to take some photo's of butterflies in a butterfly park,

Congrats Jack! Cool addition to your setup my friend! :D

Yeah, it's handy, Bill. Although I saw a better one at the Cowboys Studio web site! lol Center mounted, with a ball head for easy rotation in any direction. $40 US. I should have got that one! lol Oh well...maybe next NAS attack. :)
