I was in a nice fantasy there for a while! I saw three boxes and right up front was a D810..............................:p

Congrats buddy! I hope you'll love your new D810 and lenses! :D

Lol That is the same thing I did! :) But I think you'll find yourself changing or upgrading your DSLR sooner than you may be planning. Because manual focusing AF lenses sucks in my opinion.

I always focus manually when macro. I tried auto with some lenses but the focus tends to go bonkers when the subject is small and the slice of sharpness tiny. In my experience manual tends to be faster than auto.

I wasn't talking macro, but about general photos. :) Macro is a special case, and often requires manual focus! :D

I was looking through the pics I shot this morning and noticed two specs on my pictures. Dust bunnies in my 7100! So I ordered a Carson SensorMag LED Lighted Cleaning Loupe. Won't need it this time, the dust blew right off the sensor. I'm sure it'll be handy though.

I'm sorry! I totally missed seeing it was a micro! Man I feel stupid! Lol :)

What's worse is I'm also jealous too! Maybe I should go back to bed and see if I can wake up my brain this next time! Lol :)

Yeah for general purposes I love auto but although I could use this lens as a 200mm too, it will mostly be used for macro.

I was already suspecting you didn't notice. ;)

I've been using her all afternoon and she's marvelous. I really need to practice and find out what works best but the breathing room she provides is simply fantastic. I've never been that far from a bug and still that close.

Just some small things for now, flash bracket with TTL cord, bubble level, Hot shoe cover - Dont ask, SD Card Case, Blackrapid - fastener and Lockstar - Like the idea of the lockstar so thought I would give it a shot and then a new backpack.
Loweprod Flipside 300
Nice haul :)

More wallet emptying today.
Bought 24 of these little power 'things' :p

Vapextech UK Ltd High Power Consumer Batteries & Chargers

I have some from a few years ago still going strong, but needed more for flash and triggers.
These are rated at 2500mAh and are LSD ones so a bonus to charge and leave until I need them and not having to worry too much about picking up dead/uncharged batteries :)

Oh and much better priced then Eneloops, and reviews rate them as better too :)

Well my next purchase was meant to have made an appearance by today, but pesky eBay seller has let me down!!

Turns out my items were shipped last week, and the courier returned them to the seller because I wasn't home (they arrived 2 days earlier than I expected so I wasn't in).
Seller didn't tell me when he had shipped them or that they had been returned, only after chasing him day on day did I get a reply today to say oh yeah it was returned and we don't have any in stock anymore so do you want a refund!!!!
But they're selling the same items in 2 auctions right now so I said no, I want my items re-shipped.

Waiting on a reply but seems they only do 1 message per 24hrs so won't find out until tomorrow now!
