Here's a good image for a hot summer day.

I am glad there is a thread for landscape photography as it is my favorite form of photography. Here are a couple of mine. I hope everyone likes them. Sunsets in western Oklahoma.

This photo doesn't come close to capturing the grandeur of this location (East Glacier, Montana) but I'm somewhat pleased none the less :)

I stopped off to photograph some horses the other day. They were beyond the reach of my 55-200 but then I turned around and saw this. I think this just further solidifies the "tip" that when photographing a scene one should always do a complete 360* turn and really assess the scene. You could've been missing shots all along!

Digging through some pictures from last summer, I found this 3 exposure bracketed landscape that I never merged together.
It was taken in the Big Horn mountains near Lovell, Wyoming.

Scottish Heather

The sun was very bright this morning and brought the purple of the heather on the hills out really well.

Sunset at Cushnie

This was the view from our front garden yesterday evening as the sun was setting behind the house. The light on the high hills and the shade of the village really drew me to take the shot.
