You all have us beat we have 14 years last June. Yes I agree here is to the rest of our lives! :)

I'll have to go check out the L810...what do you think about it? Come on I know you have fiddled with it and don't tell me you make better snaps with it then the D3.1K... :)

A couple of days ago my son and I went to Wal Mart to get some groceries. I always buy deli sliced ham every time I go to the store. On this day at the bakery, next to the deli, there were three young teen aged girls and one of them had a camera like this L810 set up on a tripod and she was shooting the other two girls holding up the cupcakes and cakes and whatnot. No one was messing with them at all. I walked over and looked at the camera and said cool you are shooting a Nikon. They laughed and didn't say a word. The kid and I got our ham and went on. I seen them all over the store making snaps of each other. :)

Well to be honest not had chance to touch it yet.

The good lady is busy reading the manual and playing with all the settings at the moment. I'm sure she will let me have a go soon :)

Took this today while waiting for my boys to come out of school. I think the black background of the Jeep really helps the colours stand out.

Took forever to find this in my viewfinder and I think it's a tad blurry.

Woman passing by stated even if she was a professional photographer, taking a photo of a spider would be the last thing she did!

Great shot.. I was after a picture like this for the weekly architecture compo, but alas it never turned up.
