As I drove along my parent's driveway, I spotted this katydid on a Crepe Myrtle. It was very large, so I ran inside and got my camera and put the micro lens on it, then went back out to photograph the katydid. Overcast conditions evened the light, but effected min aperture. Took 18 shots, all hand-held. Razor thin FoF, time to get out the focus fine tune software again.

Anybody have a clue what this might be? Kiddo found it crawling in our patio door frame.
