I found a piece of thicker packing foam in the skipbin at work, I think since I have been using it for my diffuser, the quality of my pics has improved.
Not as much light gets through the thicker foam ( 1/2" thick ) but it seems to be better.
I am back to using the onboard flash, because its so convenient and it works well, but I still want to rig up a better system for my Yongnuo one day.
