Spinyback Orb Weaver Spider

What the hell kind of spider is this !!!! I was out shooting some old buildings the other day and as I walked up to the fence I felt something on my legs and when I saw them I S#*T myself I HATE SPIDERS !!!! so please excuse the focus as I thought I was very brave getting close enough to get a photo of them !View attachment 65706View attachment 65707

Trying to shoot a 1/4" bug, resting on a lit light fixture, three feet above your head, after two glasses of pinot is probably not a good idea, producing the result expected

This wasp dragged it's quarry up 14 steps in less than 5 minutes. Lucky to see it, just as I got home from work...

He didn't move at all while I took photos of him, it would have been a good time to try focus stacking, one day I will get myself set up to do it.
