I came across a dead branch on the side of the track down to the creek, it had these mushrooms growing on it.

Thanks Ron, with the first one full size on my mac, its got that fantasy look to it. I could just imagine some fairies dancing around under them.
Now that would make it an interesting photo

Yes, that is fungi Michael. It grows on rotting wood.
