Here is a neat shot of a sunflower with some bees on it, I snagged a REAL fast shot on this one because right when I nealed downed and the shutter snapped they zipped off.

Looks like Kansas and Missouri both have Colorfulus Tenderitis Bugs! LOL

Looks like you also have a Giantess Ladybugacite...10-12 spot variety...probably scared the bees away!:p

The Mackay and District Orchid Society, had an open day at their Orchid house today.
My Wife likes Orchids, so she suggested we go and have a look.

I set my white balance to "shade" at the start, and forgot to change it as we went around, unfortunately they obviously had several different light sources, some of the pics ended up off colour.
Jostling with the crowd was a bit difficult at times, so I just took snaps when the chance arose, and didn't change settings as much as I should have.
I have changed the colour temperature in iPhoto to compensate as best I could.
In hindsight, I maybe should have set the white balance to auto.

Here are a few, I will post more later.

9/23/12 at Memory Grove, Usually these roses are dead or gone by this time of year. A macro would have been nice for the baby spider.
