Skyline Drive - this road closes for season on Nov. 1st. First time I've been on it. Glad it was such a beautiful weekend.

Were you using a polarizing filter on those deep blue skies?

No. I rented the lens, and it did have a filter on it. I'm not sure what type it was, but it wasn't polarizing.

The photos were towards the east when the sun was to the west though. Maybe two hours before sunset.
