Wonderful photos! May I ask what Auto Focus Area Mode you are using - Single Point / Dynamic (9, 21, or 51) / 3D Tracking / Auto-Area???

I am still learning my D7200 and use Single Point mostly because I have a hard time "finding the bird" on multi point. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi - Thanks - sorry I hadn't gotten back sooner. I still experiment from time to time but lately, I've been leaving it alone.

I use AF11, Focus Tracking with lock-on set to 5 (long), Continuous H. I usually shoot in Aperture Priority with my shutter speed set at 8000 (Overkill I know but I like it), Auto ISO and manual WB if it's cloudy - auto if it's not.

I don't understand a lot of it completely so I just hope for the best most of the time LOL

These are pretty tame compared to the great photos that have been posted lately by others! We went to the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland to visit our son and DIL. Stopped by the beach one morning for sunrise. Also visited some historical sites.

Wanted to try this one in B/W.

Spent about 6 hours yesterday with this beauty and she gave me some of the best shots I've ever taken with a camera.

My dream was to finally get a snowy owl flying towards me. It happened, and multiple times yesterday.
