Time to post something here now that I'm shooting with my D500

Took my new baby out to the Native Cultural Dancers at our Aboriginal Day Celebrations. Lots of colour. BUT they were in a big white tent (think wedding tent) and it was overcast with moments of sunlight. I had my Godox V860 and used it's HSS capacity. Shot the dancers with the Nikkor 70-200 VRI.



This one was done without the flash - battery was low - only lasted about 600 HSS shots.

Really happy with how the D500 handles in tricky light. This Spotted Harrier shot was taken at around 2pm in harsh lighting conditions but the IQ is still great.

Well i couldnt wait any longer, i can now confirm as you see it works in the rain

Well its my second outing with the D500 today and the camera is great,the problem is with me and my PP,think i must have forgotten how Nikon raw files work still get my new lens and then its just the PP to work on.

The set bellow has 3 files missing and they where my fault for getting the focus point totaly in the wrong place

Been a busy week with my D500, First I had a horse shoot and then a milk bath shoot. Snapbridge came in really handy as I had my camera up on a boom arm over the pool for a lot of the shoot so I couldnt see what I was shooting !!

Whilst I love the D500 I also hate the DX because I get nothing like I was getting on my full frame with the amount of detail that was in the photos.

From my bird feeder this morning. The new d500 update seemed to fix snapbridge because I didn't have any trouble transferring to my phone. That's never happened with snapbridge!
