A few from a canoe race this past weekend. Here's a link to all the pics

Love not having to worry about the buffer! Combined with the 70-300 af-p, it made for a great lightweight kit.

Here are some out at Presque Isle PA State Park in Erie. I had just finished working on a computer at a friends home I decided to go and see if anything was going on. I found four swans feeding where the boat houses are in Presque Isle. I did not want to disturb them so I left the tripod in the card. I looked at good vantage point and it had a rack of utility meters so I leaned on the post. I started taking a few of the swans that I heard a loud honking to my left. I did not realize a few feet ahead of me was a nest. She (the goose was very upset) so I backed away!

Out at Presque Isle state park across from the Cook House and Water works taxi and by the the two ponds at The Rotary for those familiar with the area. Not sure how long he was going to stay so I did not use the tripod or monopod and I traveled light that day so no 200-500 but an old 300mm F/4.5 ED AIS film lens. Had to lean on my car set the ISO to 640 so I would have a high shutter speed.

This is my first posting of a photo on this website, so very much a test to see how it works. I have Blue Tits nesting in my garden and this image was shot with my D500 is of a parent which is very busy gathering food for the offspring.
