I REALLY had to dig through my negative archives to find this one. This is Deception Pass bridge, circa 1984 in the ever-present fog of WA winters. The bridge is about a half mile long and 180' above Deception Pass. The passenger walkways were gratings, which gave me the WILLIES because I hate heights!

Love it and glad to see it was taken with the 55mm. I have high hopes for mine.

It is probably the best overall "normal" focal length lens Nikon ever made. If you don't need more than a f/2.8 max aperture, you simply cannot go wrong with it.
