Badly backlit which required a lot of post processing. The underside of the bird was too underexposed to get much detail, without a ton of noise. Still, I don't get a chance to get a shot of an eagle in flight every day.

The shutter speed: 1/640". Wonder if speeding up to 1/1200 or 1/2000 would freeze the wings?
Depending on their activity level, you need to go 1/2500-1/3000 to maybe get a full stop. I actually prefer the blur and on a grimy gray day like today, I'm happy to get focus.
