A first for me, an immature Bald eagle being "sorted" by an Osprey.

I took these at a state park that has miles of trail and 100s of bluebird/swallow boxes. While trying to shoot some kind of yellow chat a horsefly keep biting me on the back of the neck. The horsefly turned out to be a tree swallow and I had to retreat walking backwards while trying to retain some diginity. I found out it is easy to shoot swallows in flight if they are trying to peck your eyeballs out. I wish they wouldn't put these boxes right on the trail.

I usually only get shots like this near nests when you P.O them :D there was 4 over Lake Scugog squawking at each other

Nice shots. I like shooting these guys near the nests. They keep circling around and I can stand there all day shooting if I wanted to. I normally don't stay around long though as I don't want to stress them out too much. They do get real mad though!:)
