Peacock in flight. This was one of those snap and hope shots with no time for setting up. I just managed to focus on it's beak and clicked (while panning) as it jumped off a roof at Blackpool Zoo.

I tried but don't find any match. I'm not even sure what part of the world it originates.
Wikipedia says there are seven shelducks , the only close looking one is Common, the brown breastband could be just behind the wing margin.
When young, the bill isnt as red nor is the breastband very visible. Its common throughout eurasia. So though I dont know yalls birds well I think this is a Tadorna tadorna,, common shelduck. If that helps.

It looks like the common shelduck indeed. When checking images online I could not find any that looked identical since none showed the green part in the wings but after reading up on it, that only shows during flight. So it's a juvenile version.
