Im thinking thats a cooler bird - barnacle goose ( I'd like that species myself) - but I dont know if Yall have canada geese ordinarily ,( which would change the perspective.)

Sure isn't what we call Canada Goose here in Canada looks like a Barnacle to me too
Spent ages with the cormorant roosted but it wouldn't fly,decided to walk round the lake and just as i was leaving it flew over.

Been out today practicing my bird in flight techniques.
Nothing very exotic and not as good as the experts on here but at least they are mine

Snap I was using the same lens today but with a 1.4 teleconverter attached.

Question for the experts at Bird in Flight shots.
I assume you use af-c and probably back button focus when taking BIF shots.
What focus mode works best for you ?
