I tried it again - I need practicing a lot. Puuh - I am to slow with my 55-300 I shoiuld change to 70-300mm or something like that. I shot about 14 pics only that one can be recognized as birds

Michael do you use viewnx2,if you used the shadow protection slider i think you may pull more detail from the birds,nice action shot though.

Thanks Jeff and Kevin. I think I'm getting better. I'm not discarding as many as I did at the beginning!!

I have found out a secret that I will share with you that will help you cut down on the amount of pictures that you are discarding. This secret has worked for me 100% of the time and will work just as well with you and anyone else that will try it. This secret has come about from over forty years of shooting, so here it is.........
