I tried it again - I need practicing a lot. Puuh - I am to slow with my 55-300 I shoiuld change to 70-300mm or something like that. I shot about 14 pics only that one can be recognized as birds

Try increasing your shutter speed a bit more. Start at least 1/300 if you are shooting birds in flight increase until you get the results you want. Don't be afraid to try 1/500 or 1/1000 even. Experiment with different shutter speeds and soon you will be getting those shots you are after. The 55-300 is a great lens.

​Try bringing your ISO up to 400, the lighting looks a bit dark and I think you need a faster shutter speed.

@mike, it feels good and I am happy that I must not look for a new lens again. So I kann us emy gear now and I can concentrate taking photos thanks to Tami Jo and all others who gave a feedback and advise to me.

plus i think micheal, the closer the birds are to you the harder it is, yours are pretty close, so your doing a good job, try throwing some corn feed down and sitting back abit to see how it goes?
