Thanks. Only that thin contrast "error" around the wings drives me crazy. It's not the lens since I have it with at least three and it appears on both cams so it's something unavoidable it seems. It's visible even when loading the original shot. I tried a lot in LR to get rid of it but this far, no luck.

Do you mean the front edge of the right wing. The more I look at it, the artefact seems to appear and disappear. Could be just an optical illusion or my eyes.
More probably though it is a sharpening artefact. If you view it at 100% or even 200% can you see it then? LR is a little more limited in what it can do sharpening wise than full blown PS which has more options to play with.

There is an article here that might help :

Thanks, I'll read into it. It's visible even at 200%. It just becomes more obvious when the image is scaled down. It has something to do with the contrast between the darker part of the wing and the lighter sky. In previous shots it also appeared when those conditions are identical. I've never seen it when the contrast is lower.

This is a crop SOOC. I see the contrast line but at times it disappears making me wonder if it is an optical "illusion" triggered by our eyes. It could be it struggles with the difference. A bit like staring at a certain shape and then looking at a white page and seeing that shape there.

All I'm sure about is that I see it and that it's pretty annoying.

Edit: I did some reading up. This is apparently color fringing and although in some shots I can use LR to defringe, this photo is quite resistant to any change.
