that's a rare one. Haven't seen an leucistic peacock before. When and where was that taken?

lucien, it was taken on March 21, 2019 at Moccasin Lake Park in Clearwater, FL. I was walking around the park looking for opportunities, and saw this guy strut by. I was so startled by the pure white color that I just stood and looked at him for awhile. After the shock wore off, I had to run to catch up with him so I could get his picture. There are groups of "wild" peacocks scattered throughout Florida ( and one is only about 2 miles from our house), so seeing peacocks running around loose is nothing new to me, but this white one sure was. Thanks for looking!

Hi Cindy, I was in High Park and there was a commotion. I looked up and saw this scene, grabbed as many pics as I could. Right place/right time.

I'm not sure what he is. It was shot at McKee Botanical Gardens in Vero Beach, Florida... McKee is known for their ponds and water lilies. There were some little minnows splashing around at the edge of a pond, and this guy came running out of the bushes to the water's edge, and then remained perfectly still while watching the minnows. He's smallish. About as big as my hand...
