Looks like laundry day Mike.
A nice sunny morning, so I set of early for work, to see what pictures I could take.
only had the 18-70mm lens on the camera. And I spotted this heron right in front of me, it was a good 50 yards away, so slowly I moved closer to get a better picture, got about 35 yards away and it spotted me, managed to get 1 shot before it flew off,

The way you captured the markings on the Starlings is amazing.
