What kind of gull is it? that they banded it.

I believe it to be a Black headed in winter plumage

Even this close I didn't get many good shots in. The D3300 + DX wide meet their limits here. Pretty hard to focus too when you're shooting with the cam at ground level. I hope my 18-35mm arrives this weekend.
