do you know what bird this is @J-see ?

We call it "Fuut" so I had to look it up.

Great crested grebe.

Annoying fellow to shoot. When he gets nervous he dives under water and he can swim quite the distance and will pop up somewhere else. You got to be quick.

The only thing that could save this shot was being arty. 7 1/2 ISO stops of light which just isn't enough to get a decent shot.

I hope I'll find the couple again during better conditions.

There is something about birds and water that fascinates me. I don't know why but I dig it very much. Maybe it's the textures.

First there was one, then he brought two of his friends over.
