How are you getting these shots? Jealousy is my only motivation for wanting to know.

A really good body (the camera, not me) and lens, a pretty thorough knowledge of the lake and the bird's habits, and patience (most days)

And a full measure of luck, of course.

Osprey fledglings trying out their wings. If I didn't have 50 years worth of Pentax gear I'd get a D500 to take shots like these. Of course then I'd have to get a 600 f/something to go with it. Pentax K-3 and manual focus A* 600 f/5.6.
