Headed right over me while I was out for a walk on the frozen lake...

Flying low over a white, frozen lake at high noon provided for some good reflected light on the bottom of the C-17:

As (bad) luck would have it, I only had my AF-S 35mm f/1.8G with me. Its fantastic sharpness allowed for the 100% crop in the photo above, though.

I like this shot but was disappointed that I didn't get a good sun star from the 35mm f/1.8G at f/8.

Visited the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, TX yesterday. They have several hangars filled with vintage war birds representative of the WWI, WWII, Korea and Viet Nam eras.

Shot these with my D5600 and SIGMA 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM Contemporary lens.

Nice! We have a wonderful aviation "museum" here in NY called the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. You spend the morning wandering through the buildings, looking at incredible mostly-WWI-era airplanes. Then, in the afternoon, they roll out a bunch of them and put on an air show, complete with dogfights. It's incredible.

https://oldrhinebeck.org (This link is worth looking at if you're an aviation fan! Check out the list of airplanes in their collection.)

I can't locate my folder of photos from my visit there and only have a few images... :-(
